You are not alone and most of my clients (mums and dads-to-be) feel this way at first. My approach is gentle, slow and never rushed. I'll guide you gently, but more than anything, I'll give you space to just be.

Before the maternity session I will spend time getting to know you, including a short questionnaire and a phone chat to understand your rhythm, any nerves, and what matters to you most.

You'll never be expected to pose or perform for the camera. Whether we do the maternity photo shoot in your home or outdoors in a familiar place; my aim is to create an environment where you can simply be present - and from there the most beautiful, honest moments will unfold. Every image you see here on my website is of real parents-to-be, just like you who felt exactly the same before they worked with me.

Absolutely. These photos are about your family's story so your partner and siblings-to-be can also be involved in the maternity photo shoot. These are often some of the most tender, joyful sessions I photograph, capturing the connection between you all before your family grows.

The booking fee for a maternity family session is £250, the same as a regular session, and it usually lasts around 2 hours. If you'd like to see what these types of photo shoots look like, you can view some recent favourites on the Journal.

After booking, I’ll send you a detailed guide with outfit suggestions, so there’s no need to stress about what to wear. On the day, we can also go through your wardrobe together to find what feels best. Most importantly, I want you to feel like you - comfortable, relaxed, and - you. There’s no need to dress up; soft, neutral tones and simple, cozy layers always work beautifully but the most important thing is that you stick to your own personal style.

The booking fee covers your session and secures your date for a midweek session, but digital files are purchased separately. This allows you to choose exactly what you love from your gallery, along with a range of beautiful, heirloom quality print products. Digital collections range from £490 - £790.

I believe there is beauty and light every home, and can create beautiful stories in any setting.
