There’s nothing more special than capturing the early days of a newborn at home, especially when there’s an excited big sibling involved! I recently had the joy of photographing this beautiful family in their home in Richmond-upon-Thames – a family I’ve worked with before when their little girl was younger. It was so lovely to see her in her new role as a big sister and document this next chapter for the whole family.

My newborn photography sessions are always relaxed and baby-led, especially when toddlers are part of the story. We embraced the natural energy of the little ones, allowing space for playful moments, sibling snuggles, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with welcoming a new baby. These early days pass so quickly, and capturing them in the warmth and comfort of home makes the memories even more meaningful.
