The arrival of your new baby is a haze of love, chaos and sleepless nights. For this family who live in Hackney in East London, life quickly got very busy and it wasn’t until their son was 3-months old that they found the time to book a newborn photo shoot.
As a mother myself, I firmly believe in capturing these special moments when you feel ready, rather than rushing to fit into the traditional newborn “window’ of the first two weeks. Every family is different and there is so much beauty to document at any age.
When I arrived in the family’s bright, modern, apartment, the day didn’t unfold quite as planned – because, let’s face it, life with a baby rarely does! The parents had hoped their little boy would be wide awake for the shoot but instead, he was hungry and sleepy. That’s the beauty of natural, unposed, baby photography, it allows me to document your family’s genuine moments, as they happen.
