As a Chiswick maternity and family photographer, I love capturing the magic of a family preparing to welcome a new baby. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family who were joyfully expecting their second child. This shoot was all about celebrating life as a family of three before everything changed forever. It was filled with playful energy – moments of bouncing on the bed, games of hide and seek, watering flowers in the garden, and, of course, lots of cuddles with Mama’s growing baby bump. The little one was full of excitement, making the session vibrant and fun while allowing me to document the love and bond they already share.

Amidst the playfulness, there were also tender, emotional moments, particularly as the mother-to-be took time to reflect on and celebrate her pregnancy. We captured some beautiful images of just her and her bump – intimate, serene, and full of anticipation. These moments felt incredibly special, as they marked the transition from a family of three to a family of four. The resulting photos tell a story of joy, love, and the sweet mixture of excitement and emotion that comes with the arrival of a new life. It was a session that truly celebrated both the present and the beautiful changes ahead.
