A twin newborn photo shoot offers a remarkable opportunity to capture double the amount of joy that fills the heart of new parents. I particularly love photographing twin babies; not only do I get to capture the love between parents and their little ones but also the unique bond twins immediately have with each other. 

I’m proud that one of my photographs from session was selected to be featured in Photo Vogue  – the image featured, A Father’s Love, captures a beautifully intimate moment between the newborn brother and sister and their father.

As you can imagine, preparing for a twin newborn photo shoot takes a little flexibility – which is why I absolutely love the fact that I only offer at-home photography sessions in and around London and Surrey. 

With your home as the setting for your photo shoot I can create a lovely narrative around daily life from feeding, nappy changes and soft, cosy, naps. The home is also a setting of comfort and ease for the family which definitely helps to create relaxed and natural images.

This lovely, Kew-based, family were so loving and affectionate towards one another, there was no need to endlessly pose these two little ones – something that would be near impossible (and could feel quite stressful for new parents). I simply documented the family’s baby-led rituals and routines. This is very typical of my organic style of newborn photography as you can see from this other sample newborn photo shoot with twin baby boys.

Soft, natural, lighting streamed through their large industrial style windows and as you can see from the photos this twin newborn photography session felt very relaxed allowing me to capture tender moments between the four of them.

Of course, I can’t forget their gorgeous dog Leila – who is a huge part of their family. I loved seeing how she interacted with the twins, as she looked up curiously at them and gave them a gentle little lick (or two). These images are going to mean so much to these two little ones as they lovingly look back at their childhood dog and how much she loved and cared for them.
