On a sun-soaked summer’s day, I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family in Teddington’s Bushy Park, a place rich with memories of playful days. Bushy Park, with its sprawling meadows and ancient trees, provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, natural photo shoot. The kids ran through the familiar paths, their laughter echoing through the trees as they revisited their favourite spots. There was no need for stiff poses or forced smiles – this was their playground, a place where they felt completely at ease.

The family wanted the session to reflect the joy and freedom they experienced here over the years, and Bushy Park delivered just that. As the sun cast a golden glow over the landscape, I captured candid moments of the children chasing each other, exploring the wildflowers, and enjoying the simple pleasure of being together in a place they love. The result was a collection of images that felt authentic, full of life, and deeply personal, perfectly encapsulating their connection to both each other and the park that is such an important part of their childhoods
