I love creating special childhood memories for Molly and her friends; days out, baking cakes and fun parties – I need no excuse! So, as soon as Christmas was over with my next mission was to arrange a time for everyone to get together for an Easter Egg hunt.
Due to busy diaries we couldn’t do the hunt over the Easter break but the day we chose couldn’t have been better, for the sun was shining and the daffodils were in full bloom.
Molly, very much like me, is a bit of a chocoholic and on this occasion I was happy to indulge her while she searched for little eggs in the flowers of Bushy Park’s Woodland Garden in Teddington. Luckily the Easter Bunny had left lots for everyone and Molly enjoyed eating her stash in the teepee.
It was such a lovely family morning and I can’t wait to do it again next year – although every time Molly sees now daffodils she runs over to find more chocolate eggs! Thank goodness the Easter Bunny is due another visit on Sunday.
