My last few blog posts have featured some pretty awesome locations but this place has to be up there as being one of the most beautiful. I took some personal photographs of my own little girl at this lavender farm last year, and so many of my clients comment on them. It always comes as a surprise to hear that they were taken not in France, but at Mayfield Lavender in Banstead, Surrey – just 20 miles from central London.
Having such a diverse range of stunning locations on my doorstep, makes my job all the more enjoyable. But spending time with the families I photograph, is what makes this the best job in the world. I was really honoured to spend the morning with these two lovely sisters and we had so much fun playing fairies amongst the rows of lavender. Here are just a few of my favourites from our photo shoot together.
